The latest version listed on the official website is compatible with iTunes 12. The software is said to work with this version and according to the table that lists the system requirements, you can install it in Windows 10: Microsoft Windows XP (SP2 or later), Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10.
I recommend downloading the latest version from website and try again. For iTunes and this app, make sure to run them as Administrator and everything should be just fine.
I bought and installed 4Media iPod to PC Transfer years ago and it's still on my old XP computer. Decided to let it update and now it's saying I'm unregistered and is asking for a user name and license code which I can't find. Is it possible to get an email of my original purchase?

The application is still available for downloading, but you will have to contact the developer to get another key for the product. It's possible that the key was valid only for the version released at that time. I recommend contacting him, because he's the only one who can issue you a new key for the software you have.
